Nelby
Meet Yann Lephay, creator of Nelby.
The person behind Nelby and the editorial approach to its app and guides.
Words you can do something with
I’m Yann Lephay, the creator of Nelby. I develop the app and am responsible for the content on this website.
With Nelby, I want to connect that moment of recognising yourself in a text with something you can explore next: a small action, a question or a different way of looking at a situation.
Our editorial approach
The guides begin with everyday situations. They offer something useful first, then explain how the app can help you explore further. Examples are illustrations, not user testimonials.
Content drawn from the app is labelled as an excerpt or an adaptation. A suggestion to try is not presented as a method with proven effectiveness.
How these guides are prepared
I’m a developer and the publisher of Nelby, not a psychologist. These guides offer ways to reflect on everyday situations; they are not consultations.
AI tools help prepare and review the writing. Facts about Nelby are checked against the app’s code and available documentation. External sources are identified where they support a claim; they do not establish Nelby’s effectiveness.
Examples are written to explain a choice. Exercises created for this website are not necessarily available in the app; adaptations from the app are labelled. To report an error, email [email protected].
Why use a profile?
A profile helps select content. It shouldn’t become a label that stops you exploring something else. Our view: keep what helps you understand a situation without trying to fit your whole life into a type.
